What to consider when choosing a Realtor to work with

Absolutely without a doubt, selecting the right Realtor when buying or selling a home is the number one most critical aspects to a successful real estate transaction. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, most people don’t take the selection of a real estate agent seriously, and are more likely to fall into a relationship with a Realtor rather than going about it in a minfull, meaningful way. Knowing how to select a Realtor remains a low priority for numerous consumers. Most people put far more effort and research into finding a good hair stylist than they will when choosing a real estate agent. They are literally throwing their hard earned money down the drain because they don’t think who represents them matters. Many people don't even stop to wonder how to pick a Realtor. They just blindly accept whomever throws their hat into the ring first, and they're off and running. It is not hard to understand why there are so many complaints from consumers about bad experiences with the Realtor they have chosen (or not really chosen, as the case may be). In many scenarios, they haven't actually chosen a bad Realtor to work with per say, but they've chosen the wrong Realtor for their specific need , some of the most popular ways people go about finding an agent to work with are some of the absolute worst. Try to interview you agent before you engage him to represent your interest. Ask the following questions: 1. Ask him How long has he being in business 2. How familiar is he with your desired location in terms of prevailing prices and the land owners (omo onile) 3. Ask him how long it will take him to get you a good deal 4. Ask what next after getting your desired property 5. Ask for his company profile be it website or landing pages for background check. Use this and pass across to others who will be interested
